Sponsored by the Community Agriculture Alliance
Presented at the Ranch Rodeo, in July in conjunction with Cowboy Round-Up Days

It is our pleasure to honor families who are active in Routt County agriculture.  These are families, who along with their ancestors, helped built our towns, our schools, our civic organizations and our communities from the time this area was first developed. They remain active with community activities and are leaders in a variety of activities.

These families have chosen to remain in Routt County, continue in agriculture and to hang onto their family values.  It might be easier to sell their property and move away, but they have made the decision to stay in the Yampa Valley for the best possible lifestyle this country has to offer. We consider them the Best of The Best and honor them with the annual Heritage Family Awards.
